Welcome to Summer Reading 2026: We the Readers!
Summer Reading programs foster a love of reading, encourage creativity and education, and provide people of all ages with activities and fun all summer long. Join us from June 1 through August 1!

The Summer Reading Program is free, easy, and a ton of fun! Compete with other readers to rack up the most pages, attend fun and educational free programs at the Library, and learn about the history and culture of the United States.

Rules
1) Sign up at the Library in person or on this webpage (you only need to sign up once per person!).
2) Get a reading log and start writing down the title and author of every book you read from June 1st through August 1st. (Yes, audiobooks and graphic novels count!)
3) Turn your log into the Library any time before August 9th to be counted for our competition! (You can turn in each log as you finish it and start a new one when you fill yours up.)
4) Keep reading - the more you read, the more chance you have to win prizes!
