RESERVING A STUDY ROOM

The North Miami Beach Public Library has three study rooms available for adults and young adults, and one for children. Study rooms may be reserved for one hour at a time and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 RESERVE A STUDY ROOM

To reserve a study room, click on the button above and choose Study Rooms from the dropdown menu above the calendar. Choose a starting and ending time for your reservation and click Choose, and you will receive an email with details and the code that unlocks your study room door.

The Children’s Study Room is reserved for use by patrons who are working with a child, such as homeschooling parents, tutors, or teachers, and should not be reserved for general adult purposes. If the children’s study room is reserved for an adult in error, Library staff may need to ask patrons to move to a more appropriate place. Please note also that the Children's Study Room doubles as the Library's Sensory Area for children with disabilities, and patrons who have reserved it may be asked to move if such a patron requires its services.

Please note that all reservations for study rooms must be made online. All normal Library policies, including the Code of Conduct, still apply in Library study rooms.

If you are unable to reserve a study room, you are welcome to use the tables, chairs, and furniture in the Adult and Reference Department; while these spaces are not enclosed, they are generally quiet and suitable for studying or tutoring.
