Donate Items to the Library

The Library is always happy to receive gently used donations of books and movies, which we either add to our collection for the whole community to use or re-donate to the Friends of the Library for their book sale. Either way, your old novels and DVDs can make a difference in your community!

In some cases, the Library may also be able to accept donations of items such as board games, electronics, or events materials, which will be used for Library programs, but we cannot guarantee acceptance of any items. Please refer to our policy for accepting donations here.

The Library is currently at capacity for donations and is not accepting any more at this time. Please check back in the future!

Volunteer at the Library

Looking to spend some time making a difference? Try volunteering! The Library accepts volunteers aged 16 and up who would like to help with shelving, organization, program preparations, and other everyday activities. While we cannot guarantee that we always have volunteer openings, we encourage you to reach out to us and ask any time.

If you are a student or other person wishing to receive credit for volunteer hours, please ensure that you have the correct paperwork and have reviewed our volunteer policy.

The Library is currently at capacity for volunteers through December of 2024. Please check back in the spring!

Teach a Class at the Library

Do you have a special skill, love to do a particular craft, or have expertise in a specific subject? Come share your knowledge with your community at the Library! The Library is happy to host educational and enriching programs in our facility for those who are interested in volunteering time to teach or lead activities.
