CITY ARCHIVES

The Library is proud to be responsible for many archival documents from the City of North Miami Beach, including past news items and newspapers, former city business and policy, and historical maps and surveys of the North Miami Beach area over the years.

Documents are stored in climate-controlled spaces under librarian supervision, and are not currently available to the public. However, if you are looking for information you believe may be found in the Archives, please reach out to the Library to see if a librarian may be able to provide research assistance.

The Library is currently working to enhance our preservation techniques and invest in archival technologies, with the goal of being able to provide digitized versions of city archival materials for the general public in the near future.
